Part of our effort to bring Gurdjieff's ideas to life involves incorporating them into daily activities such as working with crafts.  Besides the practical value of learning new skills, the work with craft is used for self study and to strengthen attention and sensitivity.  
 
Members of the Gurdjieff Society of Washington have learned to dye and spin wool, weave carpets, marble paper, make pomanders, work with ceramics, needlepoint and various other arts and crafts. Some examples are posted here.
